The 2nd South American Amateur Football Tournament will take place from March 12 to 16, 2025. Once again, it will be an unforgettable event for all participants, both players and companions.

To participate in the 2nd South American Amateur Soccer Tournament, it is a requirement to reserve a spot in the selected category. This reservation is confirmed with the payment of the corresponding amount for at least one player per team.

How to secure a spot?
Each team's spot is guaranteed by paying the first installment of the registration fee, which is USD 700.
The total amount for the participation of all players on each team must be paid in equal monthly installments, according to the months available from the registration date. In all cases, without exception, the total cost of the team's participation must be fully paid by 01/31/2025.

The 2nd South American Amateur Football Tournament is an international event aimed at promoting the values of fair play, camaraderie, and friendship among amateur athletes from different countries who share a passion for football. The rules are designed to uphold these principles, ensuring that, without losing the seriousness and importance of a major tournament, good relations and fair play are prioritized, making the event a true football celebration.
11-a-side Football - Men’s
Divisions by categories:
Master: 36+ years
Super Master: 44+ years
Premium: 54+ years
The delegation in this format must consist of a minimum of 13 players and a maximum of 25. There are no limits on companions. Note: The Master, Super Master, and Premium categories have a minimum age requirement but no maximum. For example, a 54-year-old player can participate in any of the three categories. Each team in these categories may have up to 5 exceptions, allowing players up to two years younger than the minimum age.
The 11-a-side football championship will follow FIFA competition rules, with the following exceptions:
Game Duration:
Matches will be played in two halves of 30 minutes each.
Substitutions:
Unlimited substitutions are allowed, with players who have left the field permitted to re-enter.
7-a-side Football - Men’s
Category: Super Master: 44+ years
7-a-side Football - Women’s
Category: Open
The delegation in this format must consist of a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 15. There are no limits on companions. Note: The Master, Super Master, and Premium categories have a minimum age requirement but no maximum. For example, a 54-year-old player can participate in any of the three categories. Each team in these categories may have up to 5 exceptions, allowing players up to two years younger than the minimum age.
The tournament will follow the same structure as the 11-a-side football, except for the following:
Offside:
The offside rule will not apply.
Game Duration:
Two halves of 25 minutes each.
Substitutions:
Unlimited.
Pass Back to Goalkeeper:
Same as in 11-a-side football.
Sliding Tackles:
Sliding tackles are not allowed. If a defender goes to the ground and endangers the player in possession, a foul will be awarded.
Goalkeeper Rules:
he goalkeeper cannot pass the ball from the air or on a bounce beyond the halfway line unless another player touches it before crossing into the opponent’s half. All goal kicks must be taken by hand.
Observers:
The match observers are disciplinary assistants to the referees and may suggest disciplinary, though not regulatory, measures in case they observe serious unsportsmanlike behavior that the referees may not have noticed.
Format of Play:
Each category will be played in two groups of 4 teams, following the FIFA system (all teams in the group play each other). The top two teams in each group will advance to the knockout stage. The teams that do not qualify will play a fourth match for a trophy against a non-qualified team from the other group.
Classification System
By points.
By goal difference.
By the most goals scored.
By the result of the match between the teams.
By the fair play table (fewest red and yellow cards).
Since this is an international tournament, no more than two teams from the same country can participate in the same group.
Disciplinary Regulations
Card Accumulation:
Any player receiving three yellow cards in the group stage will be suspended for one match. Cards will only be cleared for the final.
Direct Red Card:
Results in an automatic one-match suspension, unless the disciplinary committee deems a longer sanction is necessary.
Double Yellow Card:
Does not automatically result in suspension but may lead to a one-match suspension depending on the referee's report.
Uniforms:
The official uniform for FIFA competitions will be strictly enforced.
Awards:
The champion, runner-up, and third-place teams in each tournament will receive trophies.
Players from the champion and runner-up teams will receive medals.
Match Suspension Due to Force Majeure:
The organization will make every effort to ensure that all matches are played at the scheduled times. However, as this is an outdoor event, the organization may, in cases of force majeure due to weather conditions, modify the schedules and match days at its discretion, and in extreme cases, reorganize the tournament format, including suspending or canceling a match.
Communication:
he schedule, results, standings, and any other important communication will be provided to the teams via the tournament app and the official website. Each team must appoint a captain or delegate to maintain contact with the organizing committee.
Organizing Committee:
The organizing committee and the disciplinary tribunal will be chaired by Dr. Gustavo Lande, General Director of the tournament.
Any situation not covered by these rules will be decided by the organizing committee, following principles of fairness and justice. The committee's decisions are final. Player participation in the tournament implies knowledge and acceptance of these rules.
